CDCP Dentist in Oakville
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), established by the Government of Canada in May 2024 will be gradually implemented. Many citizens will be able to benefit from it. As dentists, we are pleased to know that more people will have access to dental care with an unprecedented financial assistance program.
We want to clarify an important point regarding the fee policy of our dental clinic. Regardless of whom we treat, we are committed to providing everyone with the same quality of care, the same professionalism, and the same fee. We charge the same fee for the same treatment to all our patients.
This practice is fair and equitable for all our patients, whether they are privately insured, covered by a public plan like CDCP, or have no coverage for dental care.
If you are beneficiary of this new program, bring to your appointment:
- Your CDCP card
- Letter with the date of eligibility
- Photo ID (health insurance card, driver’s license)
Although you may now benefit from your substantial financial assistance through this program, you will have to pay the difference between the amount CDCP reimburses us, and our fees (current ODA Fee Guide).
The ODA (Ontario Dental Association) fee guide outlines dental codes and fees for each specific service. The CDCP fee guide is not the same as ODA fee guide and most CDCP fees are lower, therefore patient’s co-payment is required in most of cases.
We look forward to care for your dental needs.
