Dental Laser uses light energy to treat different conditions. This type of laser is used to reshape gum tissue for esthetic purposes. It may alos be used on gum pockets of moderate depth to treat early stages of periodontal disease. It is also used to treat “cold sores”.

The major benefit of using dental laser for minor gum surgeries is that it doesn’t require local anesthetic (“the needle”). It minimizes bleeding and swelling and reduces the risk of infection by decontaminating the affected area.
